Prepare Your Plasmid DNA

Provide clonal, circular, intact double-stranded plasmid DNA
Extract DNA using your preferred protocol
Avoid buffers containing DMSO

Elution Buffer

Use one of the following:

10 mM Tris (pH 8.5)
Nuclease-free water

Quality Requirements

A260/A280 ratio: ~1.7 – 1.8
A260/A230 ratio: 2.0 – 2.2
Measure using NanoDrop or equivalent

Samples Must NOT Contain

Sequencing primers
RNA (RNase treatment recommended)
Denaturants (guanidinium salts, phenol)
Detergents (SDS, Triton X-100)
Contaminants (heme, humic acid, polyphenols)
Visible impurities (cloudiness, color, particles)

Packaging Instructions

Seal tubes properly (parafilm recommended)
Pack securely to prevent leakage
Include an ice pack
Ensure proper labeling and shipping details
